  2. Based on available global and Indian data, boys are diagnosed more often than girls — typical male:female ratios are around 3:1 to 4:1 in autism detection. 
  3. On access and affordability: many families in India face high out-of-pocket costs for therapies and inclusive education, and children from lower socio-economic or rural backgrounds are less likely to receive adequate intervention, representing a substantial unmet need.
